B2 architecture splashed color into DDB, thee creative agency’s office in prague, by creating an anamorphic optical illusion. visitors and employees are welcomed by the company’s striking massive logo, painted light blue and white against a black lobby. standing form the specific vantage point, viewers see the filled in ‘B’ in its perfect form. however, when moving forward to enter the space, the logo colors the interior offices completely and viewers realize the illusion was formed by color applied throughout the whole space.

the architects used the illusion of a distorted projection, or anamorphosis, to achieve the desired effect. when entering into the now brightly-colored space, visitors first encounter the stool wall. the vertical surface is both decorative and functional, making the company’s colorful logos transform into cushioned stools when removed from the wall. for spontaneous chats or planned meetings, employees can easily pull out a stool and have a seat.
