Youssofzay + Hart was launched in 2017 following an architectural competition win for the NSW Office of the Government Architect. Led by directors Belqis Youssofzay and David Hart, the practice derives its design ethos from sensitivity to the environment and close reading and celebration of the landscape. They constantly strive to deliver excellent design outcomes for interiors, suburban, and urban conditions. Through the design of exemplar housing projects, the practice seeks to address issues of population growth within our cities, including housing affordability, density, and resource use. The practice also offers specialist consultancy in the gallery, museums, and exhibition designs for major cultural institutions around Sydney.
