French duo Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec have produced a chair for Finnish furniture manufacturer Artek out of a metal frame interlaced with a single length of marine rope that creates its own back and armrests.
Refurbishment and extension of a single-family house of 220m2.
A family fell in love with a small single-family house, built in the 1950s. The house needed a good reform since it was not in good condition, as well as an extension to be able to adapt it to the needs and tastes of a family with 4 children.
Los Angeles County is currently home to the nation’s largest homeless population – over 58,000 individuals and counting. LOHA’s design for MLK1101 Supportive Housing transforms a vacant, unimproved lot in South Los Angeles into an uplifting housing community for previously homeless individuals to thrive.
